**Role: Cover Supervisor**

**Location: Wigan, WN2**

**Salary: £100 to £120 per day; Dependant on experience**

**Hours: Full Time - 8:30am to 3:30pm**

Value Education are seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work across several Secondary Schools in Wigan and Bolton.

This position will entail working 3-5 days a week teaching students aged 11 to 16.

**About the School**:
In this role, each day is different and so adapting to new environments and different learning styles is key.

**Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor**:

- Analyse lesson plans at short notice to deliver to a class
- Manage behaviour in the classroom in the absence of the class teacher
- Upkeep a safe environment for pupils in the School
- Promote inclusion and keep the students motivated and engaged in their learning
- Communicate with the absent class teacher and forward the completed work over to them
- Help pupils to follow pre-prepared material in accordance with their school’s policy

**Requirements of a Cover Supervisor**:

- Previous experience in a School
- Be confident in communicating with students and staff
- Strong de-escalation skills when working with students displaying challenging behaviour
- Educated to degree level

All offers are conditional pending the completion of all relevant checks.

Pay: £100.00-£120.00 per day
