Machine Operator

**Day Shift 7am-4.30pm £10.50 per Hour with room to progress 7am -4.30pm Monday - Friday.**

**No specific experienced needed, as this role will be with full training provided, you will be put on a training programme and your rate will increase when you are productive.**

**Job purpose**

The purpose of the role is to support the factory in getting quality glass out to our customers. We are looking for members of staff on our day shift which will include in processing, the furnace and lamination.

**What you'll be doing..**

Key accountabilities of the role holder include:
Labouring within the factory with a view to operating machinery specifically the furnace, in the lamination line and glass processing (drilling etc)

- Physically fit as the jobs require manual work, occasional heavy lifting and are mostly standing whilst machine minding
- Physically demanding/ labour intensive role and the need to be physically fit.
- Motivated to work - its not a stand around job.
- Heavy lifting is a massive part of the job - we do have lifting aids, but you will need to be able to move glass by hand.
