Human by nature.- Givaudan UK Ltd sell a quality range of catering ingredients across all sectors of the food industry. Givaudan have been creating bases for professional chefs for over 30 years and specialise in creating easy to use products that save time in the kitchen without compromising on quality.- This role is based in Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire and is a full-time, permanent role, working on a morning and afternoon weekly rota. You will report to the Production Manager.**You will**:

- Assist Production Manager in organising the completion of the group manufacturing tasks based on the instructions to ensure that operations run according to established production specifications, schedules and quality standards.- Lead the production team physically working with them ensuring work, maximum efficiency and capacity of the staff and production lines.- Manage the operation of the machines within assigned area, such as mixing materials according to formulas using heating and chilling methods and processes, compounds, emulsions, washed extracts, distillation, extraction and high odour products by mixing, homogenising, filtering, heating, sampling, and chilling.- Prioritise and control work flow to maximise resources and ensure on-time delivery of product to customers.- Ensure that maintenance work of the machines and equipment is performed; troubleshoot issues affecting productivity to minimise late customer orders.- Perform in-process quality testing to ensure that specifications are met and high quality materials are provided to internal and external customers to maintain customer satisfaction.- Responsible for compliance with work schedules and safety regulations, company administrative regulations and other instructions given by the management.- Support and represent Lean concept, implementing the defined Lean tasks and proposing ideas for the continuous improvement programme in the assigned area.- Provide guidance in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety, plant and departmental procedures and guidelines.- Train and instruct full-time and temporary staff.**You have**:

- Reach and C/B Forklift Licence- Food Hygiene certificate desirable but not compulsory as training will be given.- Experience in food manufacture- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment- 1+ years of experience in people management- Trained in dispensing or batch-processing manufacturing, bar coding, automated dosing systems- Advanced SAP bar coding/scanning experience required.**Benefits**:
