We are seeking an HR Advisor for our brilliant client who are based on Cambridge Science Park. This is a full-time position offered as a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract with a flexible hybrid model of working offered and offers a thrilling opportunity to join a friendly, passionate and collaborative team.

**The Role**

We are seeking an HR advisor to join a friendly and experienced team who support the rapidly growing studio. Reporting to the HRBP, you will support the rapidly growing studio, working on multiple HR projects. You will also work with the wider HR and Talent team to deliver the companies people strategy, as well as providing generalist HR support to people managers and colleagues across the company.

**Duties and responsibilities with include**:

- Providing day-to-day ER support, ensuring timely and consistent ER advice and coaching to build capability, developing rising stars and supporting talent retention as required
- Data Analysis on a wide range of key HR data/metrics providing recommendations to management
- Case management including offering advice, guidance and support on performance and capability reviews, absence management, resolution of grievance and disciplinary issues etc.
- Supporting HRBPs with the development and delivery of business programmes and strategy, contributing to and owning a range of HR projects across the full employee life cycle. This will include succession planning, benefits & rewards, L&D, annual staff surveys, change management etc.
- Manage stakeholders and partnerships internally across HR and other departments to ensure cohesive, timely, seamless and effective delivery of project goals
- Assist in evolving people processes and structures, identifying gaps for continuous improvement
- Create and present information briefings on a range of HR related topics, projects and initiatives
- Act as the first point of escalation for HR assistants regarding HR queries and a general point of HR expertise for your wider teams/ departments
- Ensure all HR policies are in line with employment las, writing and developing policies where required and provide advice and guidance to managers
- Maintain the integrity of employee data on the HRIS

**The person**

For this role, we are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills who can engage with a diverse range of talented people. Someone who is passionate about people and is great at influencing change. This position will suit someone who is keen to work with a positive group and who is an advocate for really good HR practice.

**Other skills and attributes required**:

- Preferably CIPD level 5 qualified of working towards the qualification
- Demonstrable experience in an operational HR role preferably within the technology industry or similarly within a fast-paced environment
- An excellent understanding of UK employment law and experience in handling sensitive employee relations issues
- Great analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and take action accordingly
- Comfortable with implementing processes and challenging the status quo
- Ability to prioritise issues, foresee and manage potential conflicts
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Pro-active with a continuous improvement approach

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
