360 Excavator Operator

We are currently looking for a 360 excavator operator to operate a 20 tonne tracked machine working on a civils project for four weeks (approx.) Applicants must hold a valid CPCS / NPORS ticket.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate and control the excavator safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-operation checks to ensure the equipment is in proper working condition
- Dig trenches, foundations, and other excavations according to project specifications
- Load and unload materials using the excavator
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects
- Maintain the equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing routine maintenance
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating an excavator in a construction or similar environment
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
