We currently have a part time position available.

Part time - 24hr per working week - extra hours available to cover annual leave

12hr shift pattern from 7pm to 7am

Providing person centred care to our residents in a residential home

Documenting care that is delivered

Monitoring changes in health care needs

Working as a part of a team in a friendly environment playing a vital role in meeting the needs of the residents to a high standard

**Main Duties**:

- Develop effective working relationships with the other employees within The Home.
- Support an open, positive and inclusive working culture.
- Participate in the development of the Home’s policies.
- Participate in evaluation of the home against agreed organisational goals, business, and quality objectives.
- Work to establish effective employer-employee relationships.
- Minimise legal risks.
- Work in a cost-effective manner.
- Ensure Resident rights are protected.
- Maintain records for daily care of residents
- Assist residents with personal care needs
- Promote person centred care of the residents
- Encourage innovative methods for the delivery of care.
- Encourage health promotion within care strategies.
- Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
- Promote a positive image for residency and employment within The Home.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Care Certificate or NVQ level 2 recommended but not essential as we can arrange for you to undertake this qualification
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to work on their own or as part of a team
