This is an exciting opportunity for an expert Data Scientist to join a leading FinTech business

**THE COMPANY**

This successful FinTech company are continuously growing; they now have three offices across the UK and are always looking to expand their Data function. They are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to act as the technical lead, leading projects for the DataScience team focusing on pricing. You'll be reporting into the Head of Data Science, liaising with C-level stakeholders but focusing on being a technical SME with your core responsibility being increasing ROI for the business. It's a great opportunity forsomeone to join a fast-paced business and have an immediate impact at a senior level whilst being able to really see the impact you're having on revenue for the business.

**THE ROLE**

As the Lead Data Scientist for the business you will:

- Be responsible for using a range of machine learning & data analytics to help solve business problems mainly around their pricing model with the aim of increasing ROI
- Establish best practice for Data Science and lead technical projects
- Liaise with senior stakeholders across the Data function and the wider business including those at C-level

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- PhD/Masters in a relevant field is preferred
- Proven commercial data science experience and experience building machine learning models
- Experience working in an impact-driven environment where you have increased ROI for the business
- Excellent stakeholder management experience
- Programming experience in Python & SQL

**SALARY AND BENEFITS**
- Basic salary £90,000 - £100,000 depending on experience
