SR Apprenticeships are a successful national training provider specialising in apprenticeship delivery. We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our Sales Team as Senior Business Development Manager, Head of Sales or Sales Director. You will enjoy managing a team of sales people; developing new business and nurturing existing relationships across a range of programmes including: Business & Management; HR/L&D; Supply Chain; Freight Forwarding; Retail and Warehousing. Essential Criteria: - Proven experience of developing new business with Levy employers and SME’s for apprenticeship starts, this can be recent or past experience - without this experience we are unable to progress - A work history demonstrating longevity as a BDM within the Apprenticeship sector - Ability to understand Apprenticeship funding criteria and give advice on Levy spending - Proven experience of generating own employer leads, negotiating / winning and closing new business - Strong account management experience - Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle The Role: - Generate own leads and secure new business with SME’s and large Levy employers for the generation of new Apprenticeship starts - Account manage new business secured, maintain employer relationships and maximise all opportunities for uptake of Apprenticeship starts - Attend meetings with decision makers to discuss their training and recruitment needs for existing staff and new Apprentice recruitment - Give advice and support to employers regarding the Apprenticeship Levy and future funding reforms - Undertake Organisational Needs Analysis and design / develop training plans to meet employer’s needs - Keep up to date with competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, evaluating the market and scoping out new opportunities - Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis and meet month end sales deadlines Personal Skills - Excellent communication skills - presentation, written and verbal - Exceptional sales, marketing and networking skills - Time management and organisational skills **Benefits**: Salary £40-60k guide, negotiable Car allowance Bonus scheme - uncapped Home working - travel to employer premises where requested Pension Scheme 25 days Annual Leave Tech - all the equipment to do your job Monday to Friday, flexible 37.5 hours **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year Schedule: - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Bonus scheme **Experience**: - Business development: 2 years (required) - Sales Strategy & Development Managers: 2 years (required) - in Apprenticeship Levy / Non Levy experience do you have?: 2 years (required) - Apprenticeship Sales: 2 years (required)
