HR People Partner

Based in our Swindon office, we’re seeking an individual with sound HR knowledge for a role that will provide experience in the whole range of people activities across the Employee Lifecycle (Employee Engagement & Employee Relations, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits and HR Administration).

This role will manage all people related activities for KBR’s Intelligent Estates projects and all KBR’s MoD defence projects that are operated out of our Swindon office.

KBR’s Intelligent Estates capability provides operational support to UK Government clients, such as the Home Office, the Ministry of Justice and the Department for Work & Pensions and runs a helpdesk and service centre that is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.

The successful incumbent will work in partnership with the Intelligent Estates Leadership team and will support the design, implementation and delivery of local and global corporate initiatives (helping to make KBR a great place to work and creating conditions where people can flourish).

With support from an HR Generalist, this role also requires significant levels of operational HR work (recruitment, employee engagement, employee relations activity and Learning & Development). The role is responsible for delivering great people related services and solutions to all KBR's Swindon based projects.

A good knowledge of UK Employment Law, personnel policies and procedures will be required and a formal qualification in Human Resources Management (CIPD Level 3 or 5) or equivalent experience would be favourable.

BUT not essential - attitude and commitment is the most desirable attribute

The incumbent must be robust and be able to work in a fast moving and demanding environment with a significant focus on both operational requirements and people strategies**_. _**This position would suit individuals who have existing or previous experience in a large commercial business with structured HR processes and policies. The incumbent will ideally have had existing or prior experience in the role of Human Resources Generalist or junior level HR Partner and be able to demonstrate their complete understanding of the position.

The incumbent will be required to obtain UK government level security clearance in order to be employed in this position.

This role will be a fixed term contract with potential that it will become permanent in 12 months time.
