VBH (GB) Limited is a profitable regional supply company specialising in quality hardware to the window and door industry, devoted to providing products delivered with excellent customer service.

In this full time permanent role as Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for all aspects of warehousing from goods received to dispatch at our East Kilbride depot, compliant with VBH warehouse operations and procedures; in order to ensure that VBH remain effective and efficient to all our customers.

Working Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (40 hours)

The successful applicants will need to be dedicated and enthusiastic, self motivated, quick to learn and IT literate.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor your key responsibilities will include:
1. Booking in of goods into the warehouse

2. Picking of goods to customer requirements

3. Packing of goods to a safe and secure standard for despatch via couriers.

4. Kitting when required.

5. Dispatching customer orders with particular attention to preparing paperwork for packed goods using company’s IT programme

6. Stock control and General good housekeeping

7. Health and safety in the work place

8. Inspect and report any defects on machinery and racking etc.

9. Undertaking any task prescribed by Management for which you are deemed to be qualified or capable.

Successful applicants will have:

- Some experience within a similar role would be advantageous
- English & Mathematics Nat 5 grade C or above preferred

Applicants should be able to demonstrate
- Ability to operate a fork lift truck, licence beneficial but not essential
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
