**Head Chef - High End Assisted Living - Painswick - 5 days out of 7 - £32,000 per annum plus pension and benefits**An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Chef to lead a high-quality catering facility within an upmarket residential village.**You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the kitchen including menu planning, health & hygiene, staff development and providing meals to the residents on a daily basis to a very high standard. You will work closely with the Home Manager ensuringall the clients needs are met. Catering for between 50-100 for breakfast, lunch and dinner You will work within a small team providing high quality dishes to the residents.
We are looking for a confident, experienced Head Chef with a genuine passion for great food and excellent service. You must have a “can do” attitude and have previous experience of working within a similar environment and an understanding of nutrition and dietaryneeds is advantageous, although not essential. Ideally you will come from a 4-star hotel or high-quality restaurant background.
You will have good financial acumen, strong communication skills, attention to detail and have the ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas. Personality is key in this role.
Shifts are either 7am until 3pm or 11am until 8pm
This role is 5 days out of 7. In return, my client if offering a salary of £32,000 per annum, pension, life assurance, training and development, hot meal provided, uniform plus many more benefits.
