Assistant Area Head Computing

Are you a driven and experienced computing professional seeking a new challenge? We are currently looking for an Assistant Area Head to join our dynamic computing department at a leading college in Colchester.
As the Assistant Area Head, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the computing department, supporting the Area Head in delivering high-quality education and training to our students. You will have a strong background in computing and will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative curriculum and course materials, as well as overseeing a team of dedicated staff.
- A degree in computing or a related field
- Strong communication, leadership and management skills
- Experience of teaching and/or course development
- A track record of delivering results and achieving targets
- The ability to motivate and inspire staff and students alike
