Sense is looking for Support Workers within our amazing new Children's Community Service the Get Out There Group (GOT Group) located in Salford offering you an hourly rate of £10.75
We have various contracts available working on a part time basis from 6-20 hours per week including Saturdays and flexible relief bank opportunities.
The ‘Get Out There’ Clubs provide support for children and young people who still live at home with their families. We work to promote communication skills, life skills, mobility, and access to the community. This will include assisting participation in various activities, supporting with personal care, promoting independence both at home and in the community, providing short periods of respite for families and carers.
As a GOT Support Worker, you will provide support alongside other support workers and/or volunteer-led activities for children and young people with complex needs, which may include sensory impairments, additional learning, and physical disabilities and/or autism. The day-to-day role will vary dependent on the needs of the individual, the nature of the sensory impairment and the ways they wish to communicate.
Activities include football, dance, gym visits, boxing, bowling, shopping, trips out to farms, soft play, fishing, dog walking and volunteering in charity shops with a young person. Our Saturday group also do things like pizza making, messy play, arts and crafts, music workshops, water play, sensory activities.

Can support on weekdays, school holidays and Saturday mornings
Have a Valid UK driving license and use of your own vehicle is essential No two days will be the same
