**Job description**:
Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Hemel Hempstead

We are currently seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants for a full-time position at a specialist school in the Hemel Hempstead area. The role runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start required.

Previous experience working with children in the UK is essential. While not mandatory, experience supporting pupils with SEND is highly desirable.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide **1:1 or small group support** to pupils with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential
- Work closely with class teachers to create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.Deliver tailored support based on individual needs, both in the classroom and around the school.
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils with SEND.
- Collaborate with other SEND Teaching Assistants and staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

**Requirements**:

- Available Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
- Able to start in January as a SEND Teaching Assistant
