Join us as a PI Operative and you’ll audit our inventory and associated operating processes to ensure compliance to agreed targets.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Demonstrating the ability to follow instructions, work under pressure and as part of a team
- Ensuring compliance with all company rules and procedures / work instructions, processes, and systems
- Working with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, ensuring that you comply with all Health & Safety legislation, regulations and all prescribed policies and procedures
- Adopting a proactive approach to quality management in terms of process assurance, scrap reduction and reduction in the cost of failure in line with agreed improvement targets
Effectively communicating with your line manager and other relevant managers, supervisors and external department colleagues
- You will possess the ability to collate data, analyse and present findings
- Ensuring inventory cycle within the LS27 and Halifax warehouses is achieved within the time scale agreed.
- Satisfying external auditors of a robust audit function in place.
**How you qualify for the role**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem solving
- Technical skills include knowledge of spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision when necessary and consistently meet deadlines
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Experienced in Stock Control/Inventory roles
- SAP & Oracle user experience
- MHE fork truck licenced.
