Contracts Officer required on a 3-year fixed term basis for a provider of affordable housing in Shropshire, to work on refurbishment projects to HMOs and hostel accommodation.
As the Contacts Officer you will adopt a hybrid working method, with 50% of the role out on site.

Contracts Officer duties:

- Assist with the development of planned and responsive maintenance to regenerate and develop of the asset base
- Management of projects specifically working towards the delivery of the associations temporary accommodation projects, and ensuring that the service works towards a safe and well maintained housing stock.
- Scheduling of identified works, sourcing contactors and tendering for works, contract management, financial monitoring and delivery, ensuring that projects conform to the agreed requirements and procedures
Requirements for the role:

- A relevant professional qualification e.g. HND Building Surveying or Building Services or similar
- Able to demonstrate understanding and experience of carrying out large scale refurbishment projects
- Able to demonstrate understanding of issues relating to HMOs
