Emea Tech Support Engineer

As the **Tech Support Engineer**, you will act as first tier support and primary contact for all incoming EMEA field service issues and resolution. To ensure their customers process is maintained and if down due to their product failing it isreinstated as soon as possible. If needed escalate to the relevant technical team. This is a Maternity Cover position, minimum 1 year contract, potential to become permanent.
- To be first point of contact for all EMEA UV technical and system support issues.
- Log all data in the CSM, be responsible for owning the customer tech issue until the close out stage.
- Escalate if required by following the company customer complaint procedure.
- To act as the customer contact and provide regular updates on any ongoing issues.
- To coordinate resolution of escalated issues including provision of immediate spares.
- Support the EMEA After sales / Service team.
- Attend and support the EMEA customer training courses.
- Liaise with the EMEA Service Manager for provision of field engineers as and when required.
- Liaise with the Quality department to provide support as and when required.
- Provide cover for other members of the care team.

- A strong electrical background
- Ability to diagnose electrical faults over the phone
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience communicating with customers over the phone and / or face to face
- Experience managing overseas customers
