**Casual Driver/Warehouse Operative - Ryton**

Since opening our first branch in 1983, General Traffic has grown into one of the largest distributors of vehicle parts and tyres across the North and Midlands.

We are currently recruiting for a Casual Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team at Ryton.

**What you'll do**:
Duties will include checking supplier deliveries, locating stock in the warehouse, picking stock for customer dispatch, checking customer returns and completing daily stock takes.

✔ Have at least two years warehouse and driving experience
✔ Be able to work independently or as part of a team
✔ Possess good communication and basic computer skills
✔ Be comfortable with a physically active role

**Hours**: Monday-Friday between 8.00am -5.30pm

Our casual staff work on an ad-hoc basis covering holidays and peak periods in the business.

Each week they will be offered different shifts to cover the full-time staff holidays and to shore up staff levels in the warehouse and dispatch departments.

Casual staff are free to accept or decline the shifts offered. Most of the shifts offered will be Monday to Friday but some Saturday mornings will also be available.

This is a permanent, casual position with no defined hours. Zero hours, ad-hoc contract.

The volume of work available will vary week by week..
