**JOB PURPOSE**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintains process standards and settings for making great noodle consistently.
- Collaborates with site team for determining and validating all key process parameters and standard settings.
- Leads utilising existing equipment to the best of its ability to improve process control.
- Leads initiative on “how to make great noodle” for production and engineering teams.
- Constantly gathers information from suppliers, wider Unilever group and industry to fully understand the capability and limitation of our process equipment.
- Collects and uses data, knowledge and expertise around the process and materials to ensure that site recipes are controlled within specifications to positively influence product quality, yield, cost and line efficiency.
- Monitors daily manufacturing and quality data to identify opportunity for continuous improvement.
- Provides coaching and training around areas of expertise for the wider team.
- Collaborates to develop ideas and get approval for new factory processes including new machinery based on data analysis to ensure continuous improvements.
- Troubleshoots with manufacturing concerns and engages in problem solving activities.
- Supports trial and change activity always ensuring adherence to site procedures and controls.
- Supports documenting and evaluating all trial and change related data, ensuring all relevant outputs have been captured.
- Assists site with quality or process issues that may arise.
**ALL ABOUT YOU**
- Ideally degree level or HND qualification in a scientific / food technology discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrable experience of process improvement/change within a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of food manufacturing preservation methods.
- Knowledge of large-scale cooking and processing.
- Experience in factory environment.
- Understanding of customer quality requirements: e.g. micro/labelling.
- Can communicate with both internal and external contacts and stakeholders at all levels.
- Logical and structured approach to change management.
- Self-motivated and can work under mínimal supervision. Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data.
- Understanding of continuous improvement techniques.
