Customer Service Specialist

This is a part time role 8.45am - 5pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Saturdays 8.45am - 12.30pm (this time can be taken back in the week if required)
Your main responsibilities as a Customer Service Specialist are dealing with enquires from our diverse range of customers, helping and supporting them through our range of products and supporting them with any queries. You’ll be key in building relationships with our members and understanding what services will suit their individual needs. You’ll give clear, accurate information in a friendly, professional and efficient way. Being a team player is important, you’ll want to be a role model and help those around you.
Taking responsibility by finding resolutions for our customers and dealing with more sensitive or challenging situations will be key. It will also be important to keep up to date with policies and procedures with the ability to share that knowledge with others effectively.
You’ll also support all our customers however they use us, through administration enquiries by inputting information accurately and by taking telephone calls when required.
As you increase in role confidence and experience, you’ll work through our supportive accreditation scheme which moves you through different levels of the role. This not only recognises your new responsibilities but increases you salary at each point, with at least 4 to work towards. You’ll need recent customer service experience to be successful, ideally from a retail financial services environment but this isn't essential. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to talk to lots of different people will be important
You’ll have experience of dealing with more challenging and / or complex customers’ enquiries in a careful and accurate way. and you'll have a positive, flexible attitude and a strong team player
