An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Joint Community Rehabilitation Service (JCR) - with teams in EHS, Hastings & Rother & HWLH - supporting the delivery of excellent patient care as a JCR Administration Lead. The Joint Community Rehabilitation (JCR) team is a short-term service which assesses and treats people within their own homes. The service aims to prevent unnecessary admissions to hospitals or long-term care, enable earlier discharges from hospital and promote independence and quality of life.

You will be working closely with a variety of clinical staff and with numerous hospital departments/GP surgeries, and will be part of a supportive and friendly team consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehab Support Workers and Administrators. You will Interact with a wide range of partnership organisations and clients as well as their relatives and/or carers. The post is predominantly based in Lewes although the ability to travel to other sites, including Bexhill, will be required.

The role will involve the management of a team of administrators to ensure an efficient and effective service; one in which patient referrals are managed in line with the Trust's access policy. The post holder will be responsible for the daily management of the team, including recruitment, planning, task allocation and the pro-active monitoring of patient pathways, alongside contributing to the training and professional development of new and existing staff.

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual with previous experience of managing administration teams within a busy office environment.
