Up and Away Aviation Services provide expert cleaning services throughout the UK, helping keep our commercial client’s aircraft and brand reputation spotless.

The Accounts Administrator will support the Finance department by mainly administering payable accounts duties from processing invoices to resolving queries. This is a role which requires flexibility to adapt to support the finance team on wider duties will be required.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Registering high volumes of purchase invoices, matching to purchase orders where necessary and checking the accuracy of the invoice content.
- Obtaining authorisation from managers and ensuring timely responses.
- Reconciliation of accounts to supplier statements.
- Assistance with payment runs and ensure all remittance advice documents are sent out correctly
- Payable query invoices are resolved and items on hold are followed up, ensure timely resolution.
- Reviewing of staff expense claims in line with the organisations Policies and Procedures
- Processing Corporate and Hotel credit cards including the collection of receipts from card holders and monthly reconciliation. Regular monitoring of spend limits.
- Set up of new suppliers on the accounting system
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance team as required

NB: Full-time and part-time hours will be considered

Previous background:

- Self-starter, able to work accurately without constant supervision across a number of tasks
- Previous experience in purchase ledger would be desireable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels both internally and externally
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- A good team worker, willing to be flexible and take on a range of tasks
- High standard of integrity, confidentiality and discretion
- IT literate with solid MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Previous experience with Sage not necessary but desirable
