**The Opportunity**

It is an exciting time for The Water Industry and for Stantec’s role within it. The scale of current and future investment in our urban drainage is unprecedented and at Stantec we are at the heart of supporting our clients across the UK in delivering at all stages of a projects life cycle to ensure they make well informed and sustainable decisions.

You will join our established team based in the Southern region working on a variety of projects focused on catchment growth, identifying and reducing flood risks and improving water quality for our clients alongside seeking opportunities for stakeholder engagement and partnership working. The work is centred around a thorough knowledge of urban drainage and its role within the wider water cycle and urban landscape.

You will deliver projects which improve water quality, manage urban pollution, and contribute to Stantec’s and our clients’ environmental commitments.

**ABOUT YOU**

We would love to hear from you if you share our ambition.

Your role will be varied and include the leading, planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects while ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance and best practices are upheld. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills through mentoring, report writing, developing and delivering presentations (external and internal), and making contacts in the industry.

You will have experience in the management and development of staff as well as the ability to integrate with and beyond our urban drainage community drawing on the multiple skill required for urban drainage projects. As an integral part of our technical team you will demonstrate leadership to colleagues.
