Are you an Occupational Therapist with experience working with children with additional and complex needs?
Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is an exciting place to work as an Occupational Therapist. We have sound professional structures to lead and inspire our workforce and are currently expanding our team. The Trust is currently organised into clinical networks that provide therapists input in services for children and young people.
The Children’s Therapy Service is a community service that is commissioned for ages 0-19. We provide opportunities to develop skills and experience specialist pathways in Early Years, Time Limited and Long Term Conditions, all of which are driven by strong clinical leadership. The team comprises of occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and physiotherapists. We work closely with colleagues in health, education and social care to provide a genuinely child-centred service. We work in a variety of locations, including clinics, children’s own homes, nurseries and schools.
We work with children and young people aged 0- 19 with well developed and evidenced based pathways covering the needs of children with Long Term, Time Limited and Early Years related needs.
The team comprises of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech and language therapists. We work closely with colleagues in health, education and social care to provide a genuinely child-centred service. We work in a variety of locations, including clinics, children’s own homes, nurseries and schools.
This is a new post in the team with opportunity for leadership in developing the local service and working with service users to strengthen and develop the local service.
