**About the role**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Debt collection via direct communication with customers
- Sending statements of account to customers on a regular basis
- Performing account reconciliations following receipt of information from customers
- Allocating payments and credit notes
- Aged debt analysis
- Communication and escalation of issues to the Finance Operations Manager

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required**:
**Essential**
- Diligence and attention to detail;
- Excellent organisation skills;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Good working knowledge of Excel;
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Be focused on customer service;
- Be able to build Customer relationships.

**Desirable**
- Using Sage 50 or Sage 200;
- Using Microsoft Dynamics (CRM).

**Qualifications**:
**Location and Working Arrangements**:
The position offered is based out of Aspire’s Gateshead Head Office, NE8 2BJ. However, you may, on occasion, be required to work at customer locations throughout the UK.

The working hours are normally Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30 with 1hr for lunch, although exact working hours can be discussed. This role offers a hybrid working pattern.

**Working hours**:
37.5 per week

**Reporting and Department**:
The individual will report to the Head of Finance Operations.

**Salary**:
£19,305 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.
