**About The Role**:
The RAC has exciting opportunity for an experienced** Copywriter** to be a part of the Creative Studio within the Brand & Communications team on a 9 Month **Fixed Term Contract**. This will be a hybrid role, where you will typically spend **two days in the office in Bradley Stoke and three days working from home.**

In this fast-paced role, you’ll be supporting the Senior Copywriter in developing the RAC tone of voice - internally, externally, online and offline as well as support in driving consistent terminology and customer language across all touchpoints.

**What You’ll Do**

Working** **within the RAC Creative Studio, which is made up of designers, copywriters and content editors, you’ll be completing the following tasks;
- Flex copy style from highly creative to functional, depending on the purpose.
- Write, edit and proofread clear and concise copy for all media.
- Interpret creative briefs from the Brand & Communications team to understand key copywriting requirements.
- As well as delivering copy in line with agreed project timescales.
- Execute direct response optimised copy to drive desired commercial outcomes.
- Ensure communications are compliant with regulation including FCA, ASA, GDPR

**What You’ll Need**

To be considered for this role you’ll need to at least 3yrs of experience as a copywriter, in-house or agency, and possess the following;
- A strong understanding of SEO and direct response principles.
- The ability to be an imaginative and creative writer and thinker.
- Experience developing direct response copy and within the financial services environment.
- Extensive experience writing advertising copy - agency or house.
- Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to manage stakeholders and internal clients.
