**Background**

Optimizon is a fast-growing and friendly digital marketing agency based in London, specialising in Amazon, eBay and other marketplaces in the UK, Europe and USA. Our clients are retail brands that sell on Amazon and other marketplaces.

We create Amazon storefronts, write the copy to describe the products as well as running Advertising campaigns, promotions and handling a host of back-office functions to manage our clients’ Amazon accounts. We have an exciting new opportunity which has become available in the SEO Team. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team and will have the opportunity to work with some excellent clients and brands. You will also receive access to the Amazon learning console to conduct the relevant training and receive support and training internally too.

**Overview**

Your role would involve closely collaborating with the Head of SEO to assist in managing the optimization of Amazon listings. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around conducting competitor analysis and keyword research for product listings, and tracking performance of optimised listings. You'll also be guiding the copywriter(s) on keyword placement while ensuring that our listings adhere to Amazon's guidelines and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in executing SEO strategies with a focus on keyword research methods and incorporating keywords into various listing elements such as frontend, backend, and alt-text.
- Conduct ongoing keyword optimization and competitor analysis to enhance listing performance.
- Monitor keyword performance and content changes to gauge listing effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure proper keyword placement in copy.
- Help implement and suggest strategic SEO processes to facilitate the smooth operation of the SEO function.
- Generate reports on SEO metrics such as sessions and rankings, supporting Account Managers in showcasing optimisation results and conversion improvements.
- Work closely with the Head of SEO to ensure targeting of most effective backend keywords and alt-text for all clients.
- Take on responsibility for the continual optimisation of existing clients, working with the Head of SEO and Account Managers to prioritise goals.
- Assist in preparing slides for Quarterly Reviews, highlighting optimisation results and recommending future strategies.
- Maintain and update product information across various marketplaces in Seller Central and other relevant databases.
- Stay informed about Amazon listing policies, guidelines, and terms of service, identifying potential violations and collaborating with the Product Manager on action plans.
- Assist in developing strategies to boost traffic to product pages and enhance organic and ad rankings, including initiatives such as Amazon Posts and influencer outreach.

What we are looking for:
Desirable skills
- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices for keyword research
- Familiar with relevant tools e.g, Helium 10 and/or Jungle Scout
- Ecommerce experience e.g. Amazon, eBay and other platforms
- Interest in copywriting

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
