The role would suit someone either with experience in strategic buying in components from a manufacturing or industrial background or someone who is keen for a next step up and has excellent supplier management and negotiation skills.

About the Role:

- Managing Category portfolio and execute value for money decision making through spend leverage, cost benchmarking and contract negotiation
- Developing relationships and collaborate with stakeholder group globally to identify and plan for requirements
- Managing and develop the commodity area with an emphasis on continuous improvement
- Monitoring supplier compliance and performance
- Tracking cost saving and price adjustment providing reporting against budget
- Actively promoting Procurement within the business to ensure best practice is delivered
- Managing expectation and change, particularly around process improvement and NP
