**Summary**:
We currently have an exciting position available We are looking for a hardworking, adaptable and motivated individual to join the Test and Measurement Equipment Cell (TMEC) within the Logistics Supply Squadron (LSS) at RAF Lossiemouth.
The role requires strong communication skills, with a dedicated approach to customer services, selflessly putting the customer at the centre of everything we do both individually and as a team. The successful applicant should have a meticulous attention to detail, be well organised and have the ability to prioritise a full workload whilst balancing business needs.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
**Job description**:
We are Responsible for managing an extensive spectrum of calibrated and non-calibrated Test and Measuring Equipment (TME) for operational and non-operational commitments. Delivering coordination and logístical support to enable calibration, repair and replacement of TME, the Controllers role encompasses a wide customer base, ranging from frontline Aviation Squadrons to the onsite Sub-Aqua Club. We effectively engage with multiple partners from differing grades internally and across external organisations. Having a positive outlook towards continuous improvement and quality assurance processes are essential for this role.
**Responsibilities**:
Main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing scaling levels of TME against Station holdings
- Raising calibration/maintenance call-forward notifications for inventory holders.
- Accurately recording calibration and maintenance dates.
- Working in conjunction with industry partners to arrange onsite/offsite calibration and repairs.
- Supporting the Squadrons Unit Movements Officers by overseeing and Coordinating test equipment required for out of area purposes.
- Initiating life extensions to calibration periodicities.
- Recording calibration failures/adjustments and issuing notifications.
- Carrying out contents checks on equipment and recording any irregularities.
- Packing equipment for movement off/on Station.
