Communications Senior Executive

**Overall job purpose**:
This role will support the development and implementation of our key communication and content strategy and priorities across both Consulting’s internal and external audiences. This individual will help build awareness and brand positioning of Consulting within the firm and across our chosen channels and industries.
They will ensure our messaging across Consulting and our six solutions is consistent and engaging, using the right communication channels to reach our target audiences to position RSM as a leading Consulting firm.
They will work closely with our specialist teams in internal communication, employer brand, digital communications, PR and the wider Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) team to deliver against our Consulting communication strategy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to the planning, development and execution of communication plans across Consulting and our six solutions.
- Write and edit high-quality content for internal and external channels, including creation of content across our six solutions and Consulting.
- Ensure all communications are engaging, clear, and effectively convey complex ideas in an accessible manner.
- Build good relationships with Consulting Strategic Leadership Group (CSLG) to understand and ensure the communication style and messaging has maximum impact based on our strategy and also the external market.
- Support the communication plans for our key commentators. Assist in the development of their personal branding, communication and content strategy to support their messaging both internally and externally.
- Support Consulting’s People and Digital teams by advising on their communication approach and developing tailored content based for internal audiences. Work with our employer brand team to ensure we are aligned to the firm’s strategy.
- Support the internal broadcasts of the senior leadership team in Consulting. Advising on messaging and content, tailored to the different audiences across the Consulting team.
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on effective communication practices.
- Support our third-party relationships to deliver agreed projects on time and within budget.
- Monitor and evaluate communication engagement internally and externally communication, alongside analysis of our competitors and the market to identify future opportunities or adjustments to our plan.
- Report on our metrics to measure the effectiveness of our communication strategies and use data-driven insights to identify trends and future initiatives.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all communications reflect the firm’s values and brand positioning.
**Professional experience**:
- Five years plus of communication (internal and/or external) experience in corporate, financial or agency businesses.
- Excellent knowledge of both internal and external communication channels, strategy, and best practice.
- Excellent copy writer and editor.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- Campaign delivery experience across a business with a national footprint.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

- Strong/confident communicator, with good influencing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders with strong opinions.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and strong time management skills.
- Collaborative team player who can drive ideas forward.
- Able to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
