**Overview**
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Estate Assistants to support our client's site in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport (SK8).

**Duties**
- Conduct routine inspections of the school premises to identify maintenance needs
- To ensure that the school site is safe and secure at all times
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Facilitate the School set ups and general running of the school day
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs, painting and decoration to all areas of the site
- Assist with the smooth running of external lettings
- Support Health and Safety compliance within the estate - including the swimming pool
- Provide support with car park during busy periods of the day
- To liaise and assist contractors when necessary
- To help with special school functions e.g Open Days, Entrance Exam Days etc
- To help ensure that the School site is safe especially during adverse weather conditions
- Take a proactive approach to improving and developing the School estate
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable practices

**Skills**
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK
- Must have a valid Enhanced DBS dated within the last three years
- Must have at least 2 years Industry related experience
- Good knowledge of general maintenance
- A good understanding of health and safety implications within this role
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand needs and requests
- Excellent time management
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude

Working pattern: Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00 with with ad hoc weekend work, weekend shifts are either 07:00-15:00 or 12:00-20:00
