As one of the UK’s largest food businesses we play a critical role in keeping the nation fed. We are looking for motivated Production Operatives to join out expanding operations team at our site in **Caistor**.

This is an exciting time to join an already established site as we continue growing by installing new lines and producing new products, which has created new opportunities across different shifts.

**Purpose of the role**

As a member of the Production Team, a Production Operative produces different poultry products from raw materials for a diverse range of customers. Ensuring all of our products meet customer specifications, quality and safety standards.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Preparing, weighing, assembling and packing products ready for despatch.
- Checking, grading and labelling products.
- Manual handling which may include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.
- Preparing poultry meat products including, deboning, mincing and shaping products.
- Carrying out all duties in line with training, food safety and health and safety guidance.

**What we are looking for**:

- Team work and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to work tasks.
- Good understanding of English and basic numeracy skills.
- Experience within food production would be an advantage but not essential as all training is provided.

**Working Hours**:
The site is currently evolving with several new lines and processes being added in the coming weeks. Required shift patterns will change and some flexibility with be required to fit with these.

**Current shifts are**:
Shift 1: Monday - Friday 06:30 - 15:30.

Shift 2: Tuesday - Saturday 06:30 - 15:30

**A new potential shift pattern will be**:
Monday & Tuesday 06:30 - 15:30, Wednesday off, Thursday - Saturday 06:30 - 15:30.

All changes to working patterns will be communicated ahead of starting the role.
