Calling all night owls We have a fabulous job opportunity for a Waking Nights Housing Concierge to come and join us. This job advert is only worth reading if you are one of those people who prefer staying awake and working through the night, rather than snoozingthe night away like the rest of us
We support our customers with independent living skills and help them improve their health and wellbeing. You’ll make sure that our buildings and customers in them are safe and secure at night, working alongside our wider team to provide a fabulous 24/7 housingservice for our customers.
You’ll be our first point of contact for customers during the night, offering a listening ear or signposting to the support they need. You’ll also be monitoring CCTV, regularly patrolling the premises, monitoring visitors to and from the building and ensuringtenancy conditions and service rules are adhered to. You’ll chip in with looking after our buildings too, making sure they’re sparkly, safe and presentable for customers and colleagues
**About you**:

- You’ll recognise that each customer is different and adapt a flexible, personal approach.
- You’re calm when faced with challenging situations and manage anti-social behaviour by working holistically and in a person-centred way to de-escalate.
- You respond quickly and appropriately to emerging risks to customers, the public and our properties, using your initiative and being solution-focused.
- You’re flexible and confident working alone across different sites
- You’re comfortable working as part of a dispersed team, receiving and offering support/advice over the phone to colleagues....
