Foundation Sports and Play Hampshire is a leading holiday club company dedicated to providing high-quality and engaging sports and play activities for children during school holidays. **Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Play Leader. As a Play Leader, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for children attending our holiday clubs. This role involves planning and implementing a variety of sports and play activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants, and fostering a sense of community within the club.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Activity Planning**:

- Develop and implement a diverse range of sports and play activities suitable for different age groups.
- Create lesson plans, schedules, and activity calendars in advance.
- **Leadership**:

- Lead a team of play assistants and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth running of daily activities.
- **Safety and Well-being**:

- Prioritise the safety of all participants by implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
- Monitor and address any concerns related to the well-being of children.
- **Engagement and Inclusion**:

- Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all children feel welcome and included.
- Encourage active participation and social interaction among participants.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain clear and open communication with parents, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide regular updates on club activities.
- **Resource Management**:

- Ensure proper utilisation and care of equipment and facilities.
- Assist in managing inventory and reporting any maintenance needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting.
- A passion for sports, play, and child development.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £12.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
