**A fantastic opportunity for a supply chain professional to join a busy organisation as a Supply Chain Planner**

**Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planner;**
- Support the Implementation of processes and procedures to optimise stock holding.
- Support the development and implementation of cost effective and integrated supply chain management solutions.
- Support the demand management objectives.
- Support the development of relationships with key customer supply teams.
- Work with all relevant parties to ensure that new products are brought to market on time, to agreed standards and within cost.
- Support the supply chain Manager in implementing and maintaining procedures and processes necessary to drive continual improvement.
- Assist with the effective management of the day to day responsibilities of a busy supply chain department.
- Ensure administrative policies and procedures are followed including accurate maintenance of supplier and parts master records and supporting databases.
- Support the successful implementation of new products.
- Ensure that supplier performance is achieved, and any issues are dealt with to minimise the impact on service.

**Personal Specification for the Supply Chain Planner;**
- Proven Supply Chain experience.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel including VLookup and Pivot Tables is essential.
- Experience of using ERP / MRP systems.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.

This role would suit an individual with experience in any of the following roles; customer service, supply chain, purchasing, buying, procurement, inventory control, stock control, demand planning or supply chain planning.
