_**Warehouse Supervisor**_

At Axiom Personnel we are currently recruiting for a **Warehouse Supervisor** to join our well established client based in **Dagenham**. You will need at least **3 years experience** in one of the areas: Warehousing, Material Planning, Logistics, Transport, International Trade, Production, ideally in automotive industry (Supervisory level).

**General responsibilities**:

- Ensure that a continuous flow of material is kept at all times in the most efficient way.
- Keep the costs involved in the operations as low as possible without failing to provide the service to the costumers.
- Control the work of the team leaders and operators in a way that the costumers expectations are met.
- Manage holidays & days off in a way that affects the efficiency of the services to the minimum.
- Control the housekeeping and maintenance, so Health and Safety is not affected by lack of housekeeping / maintenance.
- Ensure enough resources to perform the service are available and control them in an efficient way.
- Maximise the weekly, monthly and annual performance of the operation through strong leadership, effective operational performance and a motivated workforce.
- Ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow internal procedures
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
- Counsels and disciplines production employees who fail to perform or violate company policies
- Establish priorities to ensure manufacturing team works most efficiently
- Delegates manufacturing tasks so that team can meet production deadlines

**Requirements -**
- A-level or High School Diploma degree in a relevant field will be an advantage.
- Reach or / and Counter Balance license will be an advantage (Counter Balance license is required with proven ability to drive)
- Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.
- Demonstrate ability to think and work independently.
- Good and extensive use of Windows, Microsoft Office and various Warehouse Management Systems.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical capability
- Good organisational and timekeeping skills.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge as some work will involve machine operations and troubleshooting

**The hours of work depends from work load but it will be 10:00-18:30 or 11.00-19.30 Mon-Fri with some overtime on Saturday’s required.**
