Since opening in 2016, Gorilla Cafe has found a place in the heart of the independent scene in Birmingham. Famous for our brunch, craft ale and coffee; we have also become the spiritual home for the cities cycling community.

Gorilla has cafes in both Kings Heath and Brindleyplace - With ambitions to grow. These hubs have become home to one of the cities brightest and friendliest cycling clubs. With hundreds of organised rides heading out each year, there is always something on offer for social riders through to the most serious of weekend racers.

Our parent business includes bicycle repair workshops, a small pizzeria and a growing corporate catering business. Time has now come for us to bring in a specialist Marketing and Sales Assistant to help drive our business across the group.

The role will include:

- Content generation for our social media streams
- Follower engagement
- Creation of internal point of sale and posters
- Mailing list management and content generation
- Online order management from web shop purchases
- Web enquiry management
- Private booking and event management
- Customer order management and liaison with operations teams to ensure smooth transition
- B2B customer engagement and sales generation for our corporate catering arm.

This is a new position and would suit someone who would enjoy the freedom and flexibility of working in an independent business, directly for the company owner.
- At least 1 years experience in a sales and/or digital marketing role
- Proven track record of representing and developing a brand on social media
- Be proficient with Instagram and Facebook
- Experience of B2B sales
- Highly organised
- Customer focused

Preferred Experience
- Marketing or business degree
- Passion for cycling
- Lover of great food

This position will be part time (20 hours per week). salary 21-23k based on Full Time Equivalent.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
