Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and stay updated on industry trends
- Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, including renewals and amendments
- Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a purchaser or in a similar procurement role
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers
- Knowledge of contract management principles and practices
- Familiarity with inventory control techniques and supply chain management concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in using purchasing software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
