**Job summary**:
This role is critical to the effective management of Medical Capability Delivery (Med Cap Del). Predominantly working as an assistant to SO2/SO3 Med Cap Del the post holder will undertake several secretarial and administrative duties including leading on SharePoint coherence and output trackers.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
**Job description**:
1. To act as Senior JAMES/MJDI Equipment manager ensuring that all Royal Navy (RN) medical equipment is correctly accounted for on these systems. Liaise directly with Units and Delivery Partner (DP) when MJDI/JAMEs accounts do not reflect ‘RN Readiness Holdings’ (Equipment Tables) to rectify discrepancies.
2. To develop and maintain an NCHQ and Defence Medical Services (DMS) HQ key stakeholder and DLOD database to help ensure capability integration is properly tracked and all relevant parties are involved. Act as Secretary for Capability Integration Working Groups when required.
3. To act as Secretary for METSA and Maritime Module WGs, coordinating these meetings on a quarterly basis and ensuring actions are completed by nominated personnel ahead of the next meeting. Maintain continuity and collate/communicate any module changes.
4. To regularly scrutinise and update RN Readiness Holdings, Equipment Tables and DMS Capability Catalogue in collaboration with FDS/SO2 Med Del to ensure these are an accurate representation of RN capabilities.
5. To regularly scrutinise the Medical Equipment Replacement Programme Tracker (MERP) and ensure that RN projects are progressing satisfactorily, liaising with Joint Medical Capability Jt Med Cap) ‘Requirements Managers’ and Delivery Partner as required to expedite operationally imperative projects.
7. To assist with the ‘task issue process’ of new equipment ensuring that all RN capabilities receive their correct allocation working with SO2 Del to rectify deficiencies.
8. Act as Power-BI SME for reach-back and current demand information and trends/issue resolution. Liaise with Jt Med Cap Customer Support Team and DP regarding ‘referred demands’

**Experience**:
In an administrative or secretarial programme support role.
**Essential**:Demonstration of the following experience is required for this role:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Sharepoint, Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.

**Desirable**: Familiar with a recognised medical project/programme methodology such as:
Managing Successful Programmes (MSP); APM; P3M; Agile.
**Technical**:
Include any skills, qualifications, languages or memberships required (minimum entry level qualifications for the Civil Service have been removed).
