Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Leeds

**Salary**: £32,000 - £36,000

**Job Description**:
The primary responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

- Developing and implementing security solutions to protect the organisation's systems and data.
- Monitoring the organisation's networks for any security incidents.
- Troubleshooting and resolving security incidents.
- Designing, testing and implementing systems security policies and procedures.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of security technologies.
- Keeping up to date with the latest cyber security threats and best practices.
- Providing security awareness training to staff.
- Liaising with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with security standards.

Technical Skills Required:

- Extensive experience in cyber security engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols and technologies.
- Proficiency in security monitoring and incident response tools.
- Experience in network security, network engineering and firewalls.
- Knowledge of public cloud security solutions.
- Understanding of security operations, processes and procedures.
- Experience with scripting and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant certification in cyber security such as CISSP, CISM or CISA is preferred.
