**Mechanical Design Engineer - Manchester Area**

Torque Consulting is currently seeking a number of Mechanical Design Engineers for A global engineering business in the **Manchester area** is looking to add multiple heads to its R&D department.

This role is a full life cycle role with the client expecting someone to be involved with everything from blank sheet design, specifications, customer interaction, 3D CAD, production test & validation and taking a product through to manufacture.

This an outstanding position for a Mechanical Design Engineer with proven industry experience to work with advanced technology at a company that offers a great salary/benefits package as well as long term progression.
**Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements**:

- HNC/D or degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent 3D CAD skills (all major packages considered)
- GD&T
- DFMEA/FMEA
- Complex assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Electronic/Electrical product design background (desirable)
