Alexandra's Community Care are looking to recruit carers for a specialist package of care based in Truro.

You will need to have a friendly, caring disposition to make someone feel comfortable and safe in your presence. Clinical skills will be required, but training will be provided.

Care experience is required; knowledge of epilepsy is desired but not essential. Must have a driving licence.

Based in central Truro, you will be required to support the service user out of the home to attend college, appointments, social events etc.

Shifts are likely to be either 9am-3pm, 3pm-9pm, 9am-9pm and also nights of 9am-9pm; requirement to work alternate weekends.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting service user in their day to day living, ensuring they are safe and comfortable and living as independently as possible
- Helping with toileting, washing, dressing, meal times and medication
- Complex care tasks once trained
- Driving service user as required
- Being a familiar face, someone to make them feel comfortable and safe in your presence and be improving their lives wherever possible.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.25-£12.25 per hour
