Our beautiful property is looking for a **Luggage Porter** to join our family and provide our guests with outstanding levels of service.

**This is a full-time position. Salary up to £25,000 to £26,000 per annum (Incuding Service Charge)**

**Who are we?**

The Montague on the Gardens Hotel, part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is a stunning four star deluxe property located in the heart of London’s elegant Bloomsbury. This wonderfully refurbished Georgian townhouse features 100 individually designed bedrooms and suites, The Leopard Bar, Blue Door Bistro, a wood deck terrace and several function rooms. It is also famous for al-fresco dining, including an alpine themed Ski Lodge in the winter and a Hawaiian Beach Bar in the summer.

**What are the main responsibilities of a Luggage Porter?**
- Greeting guests upon arrival
- Ensuring guests luggage is delivered correctly
- Providing great knowledge of the hotel and local area
- Escorting guests to their rooms and showing them the hotel facilities
- Answering general guest queries
- Ensuring the lobby and front area of the hotel is presentable and clean at all times

**What are we looking for in a Luggage** Porter?**
- Good knowledge of London and key attractions
- Previous experience in a customer facing role and excellent communication skills
- A warm smile and a positive attitude
- A clean UK and/or European driver’s license (desired but not essential)
- We electronically scan and store a copy of your passport/visa and/or ID card to gain a clear indication of the authenticity of the document and establish the ‘Right to Work’ in the UK._
