Our client based in Caerphilly is looking to appoint a **Customer Order Advisor**within the customer order team. You will be responsible for interpreting & processing orders from Contractors, Housing Associations, and similar clients, accurately and to deadline using our bespoke ordering system, effectively managing all aspectsof customer liaison from initial order to transport and delivery, query resolution to invoice.

Working closely with internal cross-functional teams, we ensure that customer orders are accurately processed and delivered to schedule, providing customers with the excellent customer service they have come to expect from this company.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- _Accurate and efficient processing of customer orders to company deadlines, ensuring that our express delivery commitment to customers is maintained._
- _Proactively calling customers to obtain essential order information upfront, such as site access and delivery _availability._
- _Liaison with manufacturing teams to ensure the best delivery dates on products._
- _Provide solutions to customer order queries within agreed timescales._
- _To manage and resolve invoice queries and action returns maintain effective communication with customers _and colleagues._
- _Action the Order Team delivery report and orders on hold report - making proactive and timely contact with customers to ensure accurate order progression._
- _Resolve customer return requests and invoice queries promptly to ensure customer payments progress._
- _Provide excellent customer service to customers and colleagues alike._

**Essential Attributes**:

- _Experience of working in a customer orientated, fast paced manufacturing environment._
- _Excellent customer service skills._
- _Good organisation and time management skills._
- _Highly detailed in approach, with good problem-solving skills._
- _IT confident, ideally with working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel or equivalent packages._
- _Good people, verbal and written communication skills._
