**SALARY**:£34,000 - £35,500 per annum + Benefits

**LOCATION**: Near London Bridge, London

**WORKING HOURS**:35 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Health Safety and Environmental Executive / HSE Advisorwho is TechIOSH / AIEMA or equivalent and NEBOSH certified / Environmental Management certified with previous practical audit experience.

Working as a Health Safety and Environmental Executive / HSE Advisor you will support the implementation of the company’s HS&E strategy, plans and procedures to drive continued improvement in HS&E performance across their operations in the UK.

As the Health Safety and Environmental Executive / HSE Advisor you will work collaboratively with the team and stakeholders to ensure all HS&E audits are carried out within required timeframes, records are maintained and action reports are sent to the requiredmanagers.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as the Health Safety and Environmental Executive / HSE Advisor will include:

- Ensure records are maintained in the HS&E system
- Conduct HS&E building audits in line with plans developed by the client HS&E team
- Hazard identification and suggest remedial actions to be taken
- Accident and Incident investigation, reporting and corrective action
- Review and update local office risk assessments
- Support the implementation of the waste tracking process
- Undertake actions to implement the following HS&E processes:

- New and expectant mothers risk assessments
- DSE assessments - to conduct assessments both in person and online and support external specialist assessments
- Young person’s risk assessments
- Homeworkers’ risk assessments
- Event risk assessment process
- PEEPs - ensuring the staff and Workplace Operations Managers understand the actions to be taken
- Emergency Response - involvement in the first aid and fire warden processes
- Prepare reports for sign off by the Head of HS&E following planned fire evacuations to include:

- Review and extract actions to be taken to address the learning from the events
- Send action report to Workplace Operations Managers
- Follow up and ensure out close of any actions
- Assist with the development of training / guidance / information for Workplace Operations Managers, service partners, staff, partners as directed by the client
- Monitor HS&E legislation and make recommendations to assist the HS&E team in ensuring continued compliance with relevant legislation

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- TechIOSH / AIEMA or equivalent
- NEBOSH certificate / environmental management certificate as a minimum working towards a Diploma
- Able to demonstrate continuing professional development
- Organised with attention to detail
- Willingness to travel when required
- Evidence of practical audit experience - with an audit qualification - or willing to work towards one
- Experience in the delivery of HS&E training
