Café Supervisor

We’re looking for someone to help lead our wee team at the heart of the Coffee House - someone organised, friendly, and ready to roll up their sleeves when things get busy.

What You’ll Be Doing
- **Leading the Herd**: Open and close the shop, keep service running smoothly, and make sure everyone on shift knows what’s happening.
- **Keeping Things Ticking**: Handle the tills and cash-up with confidence.
- **Looking After People**: Chat to customers, solve any wee hiccups quickly and kindly, and make sure everyone leaves happy.
- **Sharing Our Story**: Post on social media, keep our followers in the loop, and show the world what makes Mossgiel special.
- **Stock & Supplies**: Keep an eye on milk, coffee beans, and everything else we need - ordering, rotating, and reducing waste where we can.
- **Supporting the Manager**: Making sure the place is safe, clean, and welcoming every single day.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in hospitality or retail, especially supervising a team
- An understanding of our businesses ethics and vision
- Solid cash-handling skills and good with numbers
- Confident talking to customers and good with communications when things get busy
- A bit of social media know-how (Instagram/Facebook)
- Organised and detail-focused when it comes to stock and ordering
- Happy to work weekends and early mornings when needed

Bonus Points For
- Barista experience - or at least a love for great coffee
- Familiarity with POS systems and stock software

Pay: £12.70-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
