**We are continuously developing our services and now have a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced Planner / Route Scheduler to join our Logistics team.**

**The Role**
- daily planning and dynamic allocation of work and routes to our vehicles (various types of skips/container vehicles)
- dealing effectively with and resolving queries from drivers, customers, and suppliers
- proactively monitoring vehicles during the day to ensure planned schedules and routes are adhered to
- working effectively with our Waste Account Managers to continuously monitor service levels
- developing strong working relationships with key hauliers at all levels

**What you need**
- proven experience working as a planner in a fast-paced waste, transport or logistics setting
- previous experience working in the waste industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided if you do not have this
- a basic understanding of transport compliance and the Working Time Directive
- outstanding planning skills, with ability to prioritise work effectively
- a willingness to adapt and develop knowledge
- excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively with other areas of the business
