Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with our Newton Aycliffe based client in their search for several machine operators.

Our client is a leading design and manufacturer of light steel frames, having been established for over 16 years. They are committed to providing a high level of service to clients, that include local authorities and private construction firms.

**Duties**:

- Operate and monitor various types of machines, in bending and profiling steel and aluminium
- Set up and adjust machine settings according to specifications
- Load materials into machines and ensure proper alignment
- Use hand tools to assemble, package, or fabricate products
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic math skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks

**Salary**: £10.96-£12.37 per hour
