**Naum House** is a creative studio specialising in interior, experiential and floral design with a newly launched ecommerce business offering art and design objects to discerning clientele. Naum House’s e-commerce business is comprised of three pillars - antiques, wholesale and artisan commissioned, with products designed by the studio. There is a plan to move the office to a ground floor retail/gallery space later this year.
Our combined expertise allows us to explore beyond genre. We take on projects ranging from interior design to event production to set design to styling; we only take on projects that titillate our immense curiosity.
Driven by a love of contemporary art, interior architecture, the history of design, emotional response and meaningful human interaction. **Naum House** curates and designs for a highly aesthetic sensibility. We are motived to activate all the senses, catalysing an embodied experience created from carefully composed details. We are involved in lots of very exciting projects, ranging from high-profile events to luxury interior designs - and our regenerative flower business focused on sustainability, **Naum Flower**.
**ABOUT YOU**
Are you ready to join a vibrant and rapidly growing company where no two days are the same?
You will already have had experience in a design studio environment, and understand how essential it is to work dynamically, collaboratively and efficiently - in a small team, against tight schedules and ever-changing diaries. You are well presented and a natural communicator.
This includes working with a close eye for detail on all admin related to interior design projects, luxury brand work, flower commissions and overall business management, business strategy, sourcing, office management, and updating all informational documents that the wider team rely on.
You will be a strong support for the design team (who are based in the studio too) and work closely to support the Founder/Creative Director’s EA to ensure 360° coverage across all aspects of the business and personal duties are fully taken care of.
You **need** to be tech-savvy; we use SmartSheets, ToDoIst, Later, Shopify, Xero, the whole Microsoft Office suite, and many other apps to run our business. You will be responsible for collating and creating Instagram posts, and keeping our accounts up-to-date regularly, and as instructed.
**ABOUT THE DAY-TO-DAY**
- In this role you will be involved in the following: -_
- **Interior design**:Maintaining digital libraries, researching fabrics + têxtiles; setting up tradeaccounts; minute meetings; keep a calendar of relevant upcoming fairs and auctions; assist at fairs, flea markets and sourcing events to ensure all data around purchased items is complete and thorough. Update internal documents - FF&E schedules, save images and all relevant information of each purchased item in the correct location as needed working closely with our Head of Procurement and Production). Setting up client bins, errand running on client projects.
- **Administration**: Assisting with creating presentations in keynote, updating event calendars. Work with EA for all invitations received for RSVPs, check incoming post and forward accordingly. Collating receipts, sending to accountant, checking incoming invoices for accuracy. Being a professional brand ambassador for Naum House in all correspondence, meetings and in all online referencing.
- **Shipping co-ordination**: Oversee and liaise with whoever is receiving the item to keep and up to date record of condition checks and who has possession of the item.
Condition checks of items received, and updating the relevant internal and external inventories. Ensure all shipping and customs bills are correct. Seek professional shipping advice if needed. Oversee returns/refunds end-to-end.
- **Online shop / website / social media posts**:Assist with production of product shoots, order fulfilments and customer service enquiries. Frequent runs to the post office. For social media -researching image credits, uploading to Later, bringing ideas to life / creating posts for sign off. Proposing new ideas, taking pictures.
- **Studio / office assistant**: Preparing meeting rooms before and after usage; answering the entry door buzzer, welcoming guests, providing refreshments for meetings. Responsible for outbound and inbound post + package deliveries and returns. Keep kitchen and fridges clean and tidy, load/unload dishwasher, stock toiletries, kitchen items, stationery as needed. Print, scan and file efficiently.
- **Personal Assistant**: Errand running, booking appointments, booking train travel, making sure all computer software is up-to-date, ensuring all devices are fully charged, and all apps (eg. Dropbox) are synced. General IT troubleshooting around the office.
**This role is full time, 40 hours / 5 days per week, all based on location.**
