**Operations Supervisor - Croydon**

**Hours of work: Monday to Friday shifts - 06:30 - 16:30 or 07:00 to 17:00**

- Experience of working in a Logistics and Distribution environment
- Strong communication skills
- High standards of Health & Safety
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Industry experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

**What will I be doing in the role?**

Our Operations Supervisors are very important to the smooth running of the business, you will be responsible for the safe, continuous and efficient running of the warehouse. The role is important to help ensure products are where they need to be on timeand you will be responsible to ensure that the product is ready for the customer to collect. To support our customers effectively you will;
- Supervision and planning of day to day logistics and transport operations, taking responsibility for problem solving and managing situations arising
- Work with the Operations Manager to identify and action individual and team training needs
- Achievement of warehouse Key Performance Indicators to agreed standards, incorporating productivity, pick accuracy and customer service targets
- Ensure that all vehicles are inspected safe and all defecting completed
- Making sure that all drivers are within safety limits and are operating according their working directives.
